By partnering with A.N.C.T. – National Association of Conductors Truffle fields (www.conduttoritartufaie.it) to which we are associates – we provide full coverage of the fresh truffle for our partners requests.
We work with our CAVATORI coming from different areas of Italy where the culture and tradition of truffle has been rooted for centuries. This choice has been made to ensure a product absolutely “MADE IN ITALY” to the customer, cool and subjected to strict quality controls.
Currently A.N.C.T. has about 300 members on Italian territory, among whom it has been established over the years a relationship of trust and respect, so as to ensure maximum availability of the products in all harvesting seasons.
The pursuit of excellence is what distinguishes our company, relying on the fact of building stable relationships over time with our partners.

Nero di Cognaro: a name linked to the Territory and Tradition
A story that has its roots way back in the thirteenth century.
The term Cognaro comes from the Venetian dialect term Quince tree and identifies the old quince tree native of Minor Asia and the Caucasus region, where there was a city called Cotonium.
It was back in 1271, with the arrival of Marco Polo in the Asian region, when this fruit tree was discovered and its cultivation imported in Italy, starting it in the homeland of the merchant: the territory of Venice.
Today, our cultivation of truffles born in the same land where the strong presence of quince trees has made this land fertile for the emergence of mushrooms and truffles, hence the name of our tuber.
Today quince keeps growing in Western Asia, in the wild. Cultivated in ancient times was known among the Greeks and the Romans who ate it crude with honey or it was used to produce a kind of cider, symbol of love and fertility. Quince, like truffles, has archaic origins, and together they where tated at major banquets embellishing the tables.
